So why is the new news article in the form of a frequently asked questions list?
Why not? To my knowledge we haven’t ever done this. I think that it might be a way to pack a lot of news into a small space based on questions that I make up and then answer. Plus, I can try out some new material…
Why has it been so long since the last news article?
Good question. Hogan has been lazy.
So have there been newsworthy events?
And how! Tons of stuff.
Ok, speaking of Hogan being lazy, what’s the deal with his bio?
He has lots of excuses, none of which are good. Keep on the lookout, though. Something might happen soon.
We heard that Solley caught on fire. Is that true?
Sure is. It involved a candle, a tour bus, stopping, dropping, rolling, and for some reason, Dick Van Dyke. Unfortunately, it didn’t involve a camera. It did, however, give Hogan an idea for the working title of a book he has yet to start writing: “Bandmate on fire and other awesomeness from the road”
Did that happen on the second leg of your tour?
Yes.
Sounds exciting.
You have no idea.
Well, how was the second leg?
We had a guy catch fire. I would say it was an undeniable success.
Lets talk about some really big news. The Michael W. Smith tour? Really?
Really.
That’s huge.
You’re not kidding. We are really honored to be part of the bill. We will, needless to say, be in front of an audience that is very new to us. Bring it. We aren’t scared.
Not at all?
Maybe a little.
When does that start?
July 9th. Keep tabs on the website for details. That part has nothing to do with Hogan, so it should stay pretty current.
I heard that on guestbook entry #1739 someone wrote that they were praying that David would get a chance to meet folk artist Damien Rice while in NYC. How did that pan out?
Very well. David would like to thank that person very much. See attached picture.
Funny you should ask. First, you have to realize that these things take time to track and name. Since we covered quite a few styles of ironic hair in the first installment it has been a little more difficult this time around. But we also know the demand for volume two. And though many hairstyles are being hunted, we have a couple here to satiate your desires. Enjoy.
The Urban Cowboy/Hyena Pelt: In a league of its own. What do you want us to say? Two separate looks combining forces… holy cow.
