i met winnona judd at the dove awards last week and since then i can’t get “love can build a bridge” out of my head. shane sang me amazing grace to the tune of gilligan’s island hoping that would push it out but it has not worked. ummm…so here we are day two. bwack has decided to go with the difficult selection of “our happy home” this morning. the lyrics for this song are actually from a text that date around 1616. no known melody for it so i took liberties. it’s quite difficult to play so this will be a fun morning!!! the drums we’re going for have some r and b influences but bwack is sticking an old thin trashy hat on. well actually just the top on is thin and banged up and the bottom is medium. wow. he’s playing the beat for the verses right now…this is cool. day 2.
11:40 am:
sorry i’m back so soon…but this beat he is currently playing is blowing my mind!!

Consider the following problem:
A 15-kg medicine ball is thrown at a velocity of 20 km/hr to a 60-kg person who is at rest on ice. The person catches the ball and subsequently slides with the ball across the ice. Determine the velocity of the person and the ball after the collision.
Such a motion can be considered as a collision between a person and a medicine ball. Before the collision, the ball has momentum and the person does not. The collision causes the ball to lose momentum and the person to gain momentum. After the collision, the ball and the person travel with the same velocity (“v”) across the ice.
