meanwhile, in the studio, shane and i did some editing on “rain down” and “can you feel it”. we’re still having trouble making the chorus to “rain down” hit like we want it to, but the verses and turns are a fist to the head (i have no idea what a fist to the head feels like, in a literal sense. this is a term recently aquired from a barn guest). also, hogan finished up violin today, we think. i still need to start singing.
there is a disco party tomorrow at our church, ubc. it’s a fund raiser the orphange our church helps sponsor in africa. the rest of the band guys rehearsed this afternoon with our good friend tye. he’s a star. all i’m saying is saturday night is for laying down the funk.
