Business was proceeding as usual when to everyone's surprise the red phone rang in the subterranean studio. The commissioner had some happy news. It did not involve the Riddler, the Penguin, or the Joker (unless you count the guys in the band.....HA! P-dow!) Who it did involve was Apple computers, the greatest computer company in the World (hate mail can now be sent to [email protected]). For those who haven't heard, the newest version of the revolutionary iTunes program has succeeded where many others have failed. That is in the marriage of the music industry and the internet. It was bound to happen sooner or later, it was just that thus far no one had figured out a way to make it easy and to satisfy all parties involved.
This is how it works. In iTunes there is this thing called the music store. You browse through something like two hundred thousand artists (with more added daily), you preview songs, and if you want you buy the song or record. With a click of a button you download the record into iTunes, and burn yourself a happy little copy. The quality is tip top, and the ease of use is above reproach. Everybody wins!
Which brings us to the point of what has thus far been a pointless, albeit somewhat amusing story. The red phone rang and the commissioner gave the news that in it's first week online, the Crowder band was one of the top downloaded "Inspirational" bands in the iTunes store. That rules!
Again I say P-dow!
So, for those of you who went online and downloaded the record from Apple, kudos! Not only do you own a superior computer, but your keeping this outfit afloat. For those of you who own a superior computer but didn't download the record, we are just letting you know that the option is available. For those of you who do not own a superior computer, all is not lost. We hear that the PC version is in the works and should be available by the end of the year. But if you wait that long, I guess you'll have two Crowder band records to buy (the new masterpiece drops in September in case you¹ve been asleep).
So check it out, and remember, hate mail can be sent to [email protected], but please, be nice. He's of the sensitive sort
