They needed one bad.
Sitting in the radio booth with mere minutes before going on the air to premier the new single Our Love is Loud and the wrong single mysteriously has been sent to the station. Sure it has the Crowder Band name on it. Sure it has the words “Our Love is Loud” emblazoned across its stark blue face. But that doesn't mean that the song on the disc is Our Love is Loud. It doesn’t even mean that the artist on the disc is the Crowder Band.
Such was the predicament they had found themselves in. It was a stroke of luck that they were even in the booth at the radio station in Chicago. But this? This was very, very, very unlucky.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Said Smiling Tom the Dj. “Right? Your kidding, right?”
Nope. Smiling Tom and Crowder had just dramatically intro'd "Our Love Is Loud" to be played "right after the commercial break!" and now the seconds were ticking by a little too fast for comfort. Does anyone have a copy of the record with them? Anyone? Not even anybody in the band? How long till we go on the air?
“I think I have a copy in my car!” Its Trey, the station’s head marketing guy. A little light breaks from Heaven. Angelic singing is faintly heard in the background. Trey scurries out into the hall, and for some reason his coworkers think this is really funny.
In what seems like a flash Trey is back with record in hand. He is desperately out of breath but he has saved the day. His coworkers still think something is funny. The Interview and premier are a success. Pictures are taken. Things are signed. Smiling Tom is all smiles.
Trey is named the hero of the day, but he refuses to rest. His next mission? To find out who is on that disc...
