I have nothing against it. Honestly, I don't. I see how it can be both a very useful tool, as well as place to find entertainment and to share one's creativity. (Chocolate Rain, anybody?) But I think that I missed a generational cut-off of some kind. If I am killing some time on the internet, not once, ever, will I think to myself, "I wonder what's happening on you tube?" It just wont happen. By contrast, Mark sends us links to videos all of the time. We will be sitting on the bus, and all of a sudden a huge racket will come from his computer as he watches, oh, lets just say a guy's hat being blown off by a ricochet bullet. Point is, I think he is of the generation that is regularly checking out videos, and I am not.
And thats totally fine. But then I had my mind blown when Crowder showed us a Chimpanzee riding on a segway. The accompanying song bored itself into my brain, staying there for days. I found myself walking through the Chicago airport humming "bam ba ba ba ba bam..."
A seed was planted. I slowly started to become a believer. And then I saw the following and fell off the deep end:
You know, if this doesn't help us with the new DC*B songs, I don't know what will...
