In lieu of a sprawling, epic peace that will only serve to confuse some and alienate others, I'm keeping today's post conversational!

So, how's it going? Good, good. Yes, I have had my cup of coffee this morning (two, in fact). I ground it myself, so it was pretty fresh. Well, not as fresh as it could have been. I think it sat in my freezer for nearly a year before I used it. Oh well.
The trip to Australia and New Zealand? It was awesome! Thanks for asking! Yeah, Brisbane is pretty cool. Thing is, they are in the fat middle of summer down there, so we felt confused the whole time. Like, everyone was on summer vacation, and the weather felt, I dunno, Houston-y. But it went well. Brisbane is pretty awesome.
And New Zealand? Amazing. That place is unbelievable. Yeah, it looks magical and hobbity. Even in the middle of town it looks, like, hobbity. Lots of trees and foliage, and lots of mystical rivers and lakes. Mountains in the distance. Man, I was feeling the LOTR the whole time we were there. Funny thing is, people there don't really care about it. If you ask them about it, they just sort of shrug and say something like "oh yeah, they did that here, right." And thats sort of the end of things. The same goes when you as them about the Flight of the Conchords. They're just all "yeah, its sort of funny, right."
Come to fund out, like, culturally speaking, they all just sort of disregard celebrity, which is refreshing in a way.
You know what else they do? Games. Man, they love games! But not, like, scrabble and stuff. And not even rugby, though they freaking love rugby. (Go All Blacks!) More like weird social games. One they call "ghosting." Basically, you find a person walking down the street, a total stranger, a friend, whatever, and you walk behind them. Like, really close behind them. For as long as you can without being noticed. If you get caught, then no worries! Its all fun and games! Another is called "scatter." Its pretty much the same as ghosting, but a whole bunch of people do it at once behind the unsuspecting person. Like, 10 or 12 people all ghosting one dude. And if he turns around? Scatter! Everyone goes every which way as fast as they can.
Trust me, its a whole lot funnier in person.
But yeah, it was a great trip. Hopefully we can go back soon. The people out there are awesome.
Oh yeah, and I found this online. Have a look. Good stuff.
So anyways, better run. Hope you guys have a great day.
