For any of you who have ever wanted a forum to let your inner geek soar to great new heights, now is your chance. The venerable Bwack has now launched his forum. It is a place for you to talk about circuit bending, programming, drums, turntables, and that muumuu your grandma used to wear. Bwack and Hogan will put in their 2 cents when needed, but this is really and truly for you and directed by you. So come on…. How deep is your geek?
Link here to the forum Yes old friends...The time has been long. Too long, and much has happened. For we have embarked on many adventures and have much to tell. For instance, we were not aware that it snowed heavily anywhere but the beautiful Rocky Mountains, where streams run clear and ice waterfalls shimmer in the morning sun like diamonds...Wait, this is ridiculous. No need for all the frou-frou business. What we’re trying to say is that we went on the first leg of our tour and it was cold out there, ya’ll! With all this grimy snow all caked up on the side of the road looking all black and what not. Big props for those in the Midwest. We Texans don’t know the half of it. So, yeah. We totally did the deal for the first time on our own, and you know, we learned some stuff. Like if you don’t see the sun for like a week or two you get really grumpy. And you can eat sandwiches a lot, but for every single meal? We had no clue it could be done (We also learned that truck drivers sometime call deli trays "flatmeat." Hmmmmm, flatmeat). We learned that having a crew rules, and having a great crew means the world. We saw someone sleep for 18 hours straight on the bus. Didn’t think that was possible, but hey, he deserved it. We also met some pretty cool people. Like, ummmm, all of you who we met out there. On the road. Who came up to us. Thanks. And speaking of thanks, we want to send some out. To the crew mentioned above… you guys are kings among men. You deserve our finest meats (flatmeats?) and cheeses (and we’re only half way done!). Rob… Getting it done, yo. Paul Wright and the guys in Telecast who are lending all their support...thank you. To our newest mascot, the squirrel...who brings the laughs night after night. And our other newest mascot Meatwad...God bless you, you wad of meat. So there we go. It won’t be long till we hit the road again, so you should all keep tabs on the schedule. Come out if you can. We would love to meat you (Get it? The whole meat vs. meet thing? Cause meat has been a theme here, you know?) West Coast, here we come! Oh yeah, almost forgot. Check out these rad shirts these guys made which depict the apparition that haunts our soon-to-be barn/studio. Big up, Pepper! If you want an official ghost of pepper shirt from the creator himself email your wishes to [email protected]
